Reading, PA- McDonald’s restaurant employees volunteered at community organizations all over the region Thursday.
Managers and crew members spent their mornings at locations including the Olivet Boys & Girls Club at Pendora Park in Reading as part of the company’s Community Counts Days.
The volunteers helped place mulch around the yet-to-be-opened club and also worked in Pendora Park.
In all, company employees volunteered their time at 11 sites in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
John Durante, president of McDonald’s Greater Philadelphia Region Owner/Operator Association, said in a statement that the company is proud to give back.
“We encourage our crew members and entire organization to be active within the community and help support initiatives that will reflect our values, and help our area continue to grow, thrive and be a wonderful place to call home,” he said.
