Olivet Boys & Girls Club enables all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as healthy, productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Olivet Boys & Girls Club is proud to be partnered with all of our local professional sports organizations.

First Tee

Offered in the summer to members ages 10-12. The program aims to impact the lives of young people from diverse backgrounds by providing life skills education as part of golf instruction that promotes positive values, physical skills, and sportsmanship. Members have the opportunity to golf at Manor Golf Club and Sittler’s Golf Center.

The First Tee of Lehigh Valley has many scholarship opportunities for participants in The First Tee Life Skills Experience™. As participants reach levels of certification, they are eligible to apply for scholarship opportunities.

Jr. RBI (Revitalizing Baseball In Inner City) Baseball

In partnership with the Reading Fightin Phils, this program is designed to create baseball and softball opportunities for youth ages 10-12. It also serves as a feeder to the RBI teen program (youth ages 13-18). The emphasis is on teaching the fundamentals of baseball and making it safe and fun. This division (10-12) may be utilized as an introduction to competitive baseball and softball.

RBI Baseball

A Major League Baseball initiative designed to increase urban youth participation in baseball and softball by re-introducing America’s pastime to underserved communities. RBI teams representing Club leagues are eligible to participate in sports clinics, eight regional tournaments, and a national championship tournament (the RBI World Series) conducted by Major League Baseball every summer.

Youth Soccer

The Reading United has created soccer programs that will guide the Boys & Girls Club’s efforts to promote healthy lifestyles as part of its core programming. Reading United has extensive experience creating programming for all ages, abilities, and genders in order to grow the love of soccer in the local community.

Floor Hockey

The Reading Royals have partnered with Olivet Boys & Girls Club for an initiative to help kids learn about ice hockey. The program, run through the Royals Kids Club, will provide free skills clinics, game tickets, and other perks to Olivet members.

Intramural Basketball

Co-ed basketball in-house league runs from December to March. Members from our intramural league are selected to participate on the Olivet in-house traveling teams from March-May.

Flag Football

Games played at The Millmont Club and Body Zone. The program has two age divisions: 10 to 12 and 13 to 15-year-olds.
