  Programs and Services

Olivet BGC staff members provide caring guidance. Kids between six and 18 come to the Club to talk to the staff, hang out with their friends, and take advantage of various programs that allow help them to positively develop mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Club programs address Berks County’s most pressing youth issues, each one focusing on teaching youth the skills they need to succeed in life. They fall under five main areas: Character and Leadership Development; the Arts; Education and Career Development; Sports, Fitness and Recreation; and Health and Life Skills.

Character and Leadership Development
Programs in this area empower youth to support and influence their club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self image and good character, participate in the democratic process, and respect their own and others’ cultural identities.
