  Kiss a Pig

Olivet Boys & Girls Club began a special community event in 1994 called the Kiss-A-Pig contest as a creative way to raise awareness about the Boys & Girls Club’s mission in Reading & Berks County.

The event has become one of the most fun and talked about events in our community. To date, the event has raised almost $1.5 million for the kids of our community who need us the most.

The contest, along with its sponsor and candidates, enjoyed a great deal of local publicity, including newspaper, radio and television coverage throughout the12 week period. This year the contest will run from February 23 until May 24, 2011.

The candidates for 2011 candidates are:

Rich Broadbent, Acorn Display and Manufacturing
Rich Caputo, Fox Rothschild
Scott Exley, Bursich
Mike Fischetti, Carpenter
Stephanie Hackash, Reading Royals
Matt Langdon, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management
Dr. Kristine Leaman, All About Women
